Woli Arole Weighs In: Carrying Your Own Baby is a True Blessing
Nigerian comedian and radio personality Woli Arole recently shared his take on the growing trend of medically healthy women choosing surrogacy over natural pregnancy.
In a candid Instagram post, Arole emphasized that carrying a baby to term and giving birth naturally is a blessing bestowed by God. He suggested that assisted reproductive methods like surrogacy or IVF should be reserved for those facing genuine medical challenges, rather than being used as a convenience.
He urged women to view their bodies as sacred, writing, “Listen carefully, it is a blessing for a woman to carry her baby in her womb, that is how God wants it. Don’t let modern trends mislead you. Unless there’s a medical reason, options like surrogacy and IVF are for those who truly need them.”
Arole added a firm reminder, “You can’t just say ‘my body, my choice’ and opt out of carrying your child because you don’t feel like it. Nooooooo, your body is God’s temple.”
