Woli Arole Slams Campus Fellowship Leaders for Demanding Food as ‘First Fruit’ from Students
Comedian-turned-prophet Woli Arole has taken a swipe at fellowship leaders in Nigerian universities, accusing them of pressuring students to bring food items as their ‘first fruit’ offerings.
Sharing his frustration on Instagram this Monday, Woli Arole revealed that these fellowship leaders are now being addressed as “Papas and Mamas” on various campuses nationwide.
He expressed his disbelief at the situation, calling it “what nonsense.”
“I’ve heard that you’re already being called ‘Papa and Mama’ in universities just because you’re a fellowship leader, and you’re asking students to bring their foodstuffs as FIRST FRUIT. What nonsense,” he wrote.
Woli Arole’s callout highlights concerns about the exploitation of students under the guise of spiritual leadership.
