In a video making rounds online, 10 Naira revealed how his involvement in internet fraud, commonly called ‘Yahoo Yahoo,’ nearly wrecked him completely. With raw honesty, he admitted that the entire experience left him disillusioned and emotionally drained.
Despite putting his all into the shady hustle, the comedian confessed he never made any significant money from it. Instead, he was left frustrated and spiritually battered, vowing never to go down that road again.
Adding salt to his wounds, 10 Naira shared that some of his friends who engaged in the same scheme were thriving — flaunting luxury cars and new homes across Lagos. Their flashy success stories left him feeling broken and questioning his life choices. With a mix of humor and heartbreak, he described how envy and despair nearly consumed him while others seemed to prosper from the same path that brought him pain.
In his words, the entire ordeal “scattered his brain,” teaching him a hard lesson about chasing quick wealth. Now, he hopes others will learn from his story before making the same costly mistake.
