Tems to Steal the Spotlight at First-Ever FIFA Club World Cup Halftime Show

Grammy-winning Nigerian sensation Temilade Openiyi, better known as Tems, is gearing up to make history as the headline act for the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup Final halftime show.

FIFA revealed on Monday, June 9, 2025, that Tems will share the stage with American rapper Doja Cat and Colombian superstar J Balvin at the halftime event, produced by Global Citizen.

The much-anticipated Club World Cup final is scheduled for July 13 at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, USA. The halftime performance, curated by Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin, will be streamed live and free on DAZN.com.

Expressing her excitement, Tems said, “We’re bringing the world together for a special moment — celebrating football, embracing the unity music creates, and supporting millions of children through the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund. I can’t wait — see you at the Club World Cup final!”

The tournament will feature 32 teams from across the globe, competing in 12 stadiums spread over 11 cities throughout the United States, kicking off on June 14, 2025.
