Skales Shares Insight on Why Many Artists Miss Out on Their Big Breaks
Renowned Nigerian musician Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, better known as Skales, recently shared his thoughts on why numerous artists fail to catch their big breaks. Speaking on his X account this past Monday, he emphasized that determination and patience are crucial ingredients for success.
Skales pointed out that many artists give up too soon, often just before their fortunes turn around. He urged creatives to stay the course and keep pushing forward. “Your music has the power to take you worldwide. You just need to stay consistent enough to witness it happen,” he advised.
He added, “Most artists quit before their blessings arrive. Keep going.”
Interestingly, Skales recently mentioned that his career received a fresh boost after his hit track “Shake Body” went viral again, a full decade after its release, thanks to Barcelona’s young star Lamine Yamal’s popular dance video.
