Odumodublvck Tells Blaqbonez to Quit Claiming the Best Rapper Title
Nigerian hip-hop star Tochukwu Ojogwu, known as Odumodublvck, has fired a sharp message at fellow rapper Blaqbonez, urging him to stop crowning himself as the nation’s top rapper.
The tension between the two artists recently heated up following a fiery social media exchange.
The rivalry kicked off when Blaqbonez took a jab at Odumodublvck in his latest track with A-Q, titled ‘Who’s Really Rapping’.
In a recent interview on Jusmen 105.7, Odumodublvck expressed that Blaqbonez’s self-proclaimed status as the best rapper is a slight against Nigerian rap legends.
“Do you realize what it means to claim you’re the best rapper in Nigeria?” he questioned. “Stop joking around. You’re not the best rapper. M.I, Vector—they’re the best. If you were truly the best, you’d have snagged the Best Rap Album at the Headies. You weren’t even nominated for Best Rap Single.”
He continued, “I’m not better than Phyno either. Look at his legacy. There’s Olamide, Vector, M.I, Modenine, Ghost, Tec… For me to say I’m the best, I have to actually be the best. If you’re not, then stop saying it. It’s really getting on my nerves, bro. You could get smacked for that kind of talk.”
Odumodublvck added, “Don’t mislead the kids by claiming you’re the best. No one’s even booking you for shows. People don’t call you wack—you’re talented. But don’t let your insecurities close doors for you.”
Clearly, the rap battle between these two is far from over.
