Man Complains as Wife Airs Marital Issues During Midnight Prayers
A man has expressed frustration over his wife’s rather unconventional and passive-aggressive way of handling their marital problems.
Instead of discussing issues face-to-face, the wife opts to voice her complaints during her midnight prayer sessions.
In a post shared online, the man described how his wife repeatedly uses these late-night prayers to highlight his faults and make indirect demands.
One example he gave was when he came home late one night, clearly intoxicated. Rather than confronting him directly, she waited until midnight to pray about it.
He explained, “Please keep me anonymous. I have a problem with my wife. When I mess up, she doesn’t talk to me directly. She waits until 12 a.m. and uses her midnight prayers to air her grievances. The other night I came home drunk in the early hours. Instead of being upset, she waited until midnight and prayed something like, ‘I pray for all men who leave their wives at home and go drinking all night to stop.’ I have no idea what she saw, but in her last prayer, she mentioned praying for Mbali to stop sending other people’s husbands dirty pictures. Even when she wants me to buy her something, she drops hints during her prayers. I feel like one day she’ll cheat and confess it in her midnight prayers. Isn’t that childish?”
