Nigerian singer Damilola Afolabi, better known as L.A.X, has addressed the skeptics who question his talent. The ‘Caro’ hitmaker made it clear that if he lacked the skills many attribute to him, he would have walked away from the music scene long ago.

In a recent chat with Guardian Life, L.A.X shared insight into his relentless work ethic, emphasizing the daily grind behind his consistent releases.

“Every day I’m up early, hustling, hitting the studio, and putting in the work to deliver quality music. If I wasn’t truly talented, I would have quit a long time ago,” he remarked.

L.A.X first gained widespread recognition in August 2013 after signing with Starboy Entertainment and dropping the smash hit ‘Caro’ alongside Wizkid.

His statement serves as a reminder that success in music demands both talent and dedication.
