Frank Edoho Opens Up About Second Divorce: ‘Maybe Marriage Isn’t My Forte’
Renowned Nigerian media figure and TV host Frank Edoho has announced the end of his second marriage.
As a reminder, Edoho tied the knot with his second wife, Sandra Onyenuchenuya, following the breakdown of his first marriage to Katherine Obiang back in 2011.
In a candid chat on the Tea With Tay podcast, Edoho revealed that he and Sandra have parted ways. Reflecting on his marital journey, he admitted that despite his best efforts, both marriages didn’t work out.
“Maybe I’m not good at marriage, I must confess. The two women I married aren’t my soul mates. There’s a difference between the love of your life and your soul mate. The love of your life is the person who comes to mind when you think of love, but your soul mate is someone who understands you before you even speak and naturally aligns with you,” he explained.
He added, “I went above and beyond in both marriages. I supported my partners fully, ready to put everything aside for them. But you can’t blame someone for falling out of love. Take footballer Kaka, for example. He’s a handsome Brazilian who remained attractive even after retirement. Yet, his wife divorced him, saying, ‘He is too good.’”
Frank Edoho’s reflections offer a poignant look at the complexities of love and marriage, reminding us that sometimes, even the best intentions aren’t enough.
