Esther Sky Urges May Edochie to Drop Yul’s Surname Amid Family Feud
Nollywood actress Esther Nwachukwu, better known as Esther Sky, has weighed in on the ongoing Edochie family saga, advising May Edochie to let go of her estranged husband Yul Edochie’s last name.
This comes amid the escalating conflict triggered by Yul’s brother, Linc Edochie’s new wife, Yinka, who stirred the pot by sharing private phone numbers online, intensifying tensions within the family.
In a viral Instagram video, Esther claimed that Yul’s family, including actress Rita Edochie, has banded together against May.
She asserted that May has built her own identity and no longer needs to be tied to the Edochie name.
“With all due respect, drop Yul Edochie’s name for the sake of peace. Even if your official documents still bear the name May Yul Edochie, take it to court. You’re winning right now; there’s nothing special about that surname. Post online and give us your new name,” she urged.
Esther also alleged that the family has conspired against May, saying, “All Yul Edochie’s siblings have been bought off. If they weren’t plotting behind Queen May’s back, the new wife wouldn’t be dragging her online for no reason.”
She didn’t hold back in calling out veteran actor Pete Edochie for staying silent amid the drama.
“Pete Edochie, sir, with all due respect, I’m calling on you to end this madness in your family. You’re the one who can stop it. Enough is enough,” she declared.
