Carter Efe, the well-known skit maker and musician, surprisingly revealed on X (formerly Twitter) that he’s not just a creative entertainer but also a proud alumnus of Babcock University. What’s more, he claims to have graduated with a first-class upper division in biochemistry and was the top student in his class.

In a recent post, Carter confidently announced, “I went to Babcock University. I graduated with first class upper. I was the best in my set… I study Bio chemistry.”

The declaration quickly caught the public’s attention and sparked plenty of amusing and skeptical reactions. Social media users were quick to respond, mixing humor with disbelief. One user quipped, “I studied—are you sure it wasn’t Ikorodu Babcock you attended?” while another joked, “If you really went to Babcock, then Ogun State wouldn’t be lacking water.”

Others took a more sarcastic tone, with comments like, “He claims first class upper, but we all know he might barely be a third class student,” and “First Class… with Upper? Talk about mixing grades!”

Some questioned the credibility of the claim altogether, highlighting the confusion around ‘first class upper’ as an academic classification. Still, others threw jabs at Carter’s parenting, wondering, “Where did your father find the money to put you through Babcock University?”

Regardless of the debates and jokes, Carter Efe’s post has added a new layer of intrigue to his onscreen persona, inviting fans to wonder about the untold academic side of this popular entertainer.
