Bobrisky Criticizes Nigerian Senators for Their Silence on Benue Tragedy
Popular Nigerian crossdresser Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, better known as Bobrisky, has taken a swipe at Nigerian senators for their apparent lack of urgency in addressing the recent deadly attacks in Benue State.
On Monday, Bobrisky took to his Instagram story to highlight the contrast between how quickly lawmakers convened over his legal troubles and their silence regarding the ongoing violence in Benue.
“Senators and house representatives didn’t call an urgent meeting about the killings in Benue. But they can rush to meet when it’s about Bobrisky. Shame, shame! What a shameful country,” he lamented.
Back in 2024, Bobrisky faced legal action from the EFCC over allegations of defacing Naira notes. Despite being found guilty, reports later surfaced that he did not spend any time behind bars in Nigeria.
