Blaqbonez Admits He Won’t Last 15 Years in the Music Scene
Rapper Blaqbonez has revealed that he doesn’t see himself staying in the music industry for 15 years, hinting at an early retirement before reaching that milestone.
The ‘Like Ice Spice’ hitmaker made this confession while applauding veteran singer and rapper Olamide for his impressive 15-year run.
He acknowledged that Olamide’s enduring success is something many artists aspire to, but admitted it’s not a path he plans to follow.
On his X account, Blaqbonez wrote, “Respect to @Olamide for this album. To be able to do this for like 15 years is crazy—it’s the kind of longevity everyone prays for. Real Everlasting Taker.”
In a follow-up post, he added, “Me, I no fit do 15 years o, the one wey una see, u go take.”
Clearly, Blaqbonez is charting his own course in the music world, with a timeline that’s a bit shorter but no less impactful.
