Nigerian singer Anthony Ebuka Victor, better known as Victony, has confessed to leaning on alcohol to boost his stage performances.
The ‘Soweto’ hitmaker revealed that he’s never stepped onto a stage sober—until now. Speaking with Behind The Prestige, Victony shared his plans to change things up during his ongoing ‘Stubborn’ tour, aiming for a more genuine connection with his audience.
“This tour is a big challenge for me,” he admitted. “I’ve never performed without having a drink beforehand. But this time, I want to see my fans clearly and truly engage with them. I just want to give it a shot.”
