Gospel Singer Big Bolaji Finally Laid to Rest in Ibadan
Beloved gospel artist Bolaji Olanrewaju, better known as Big Bolaji, has been laid to rest at All Souls Private Cemetery in Ido, Ibadan. The singer passed away on April 19 at the age of 50 after a brief illness.
The burial ceremony commenced on Wednesday, drawing family, friends, and renowned gospel stars who gathered to honor the late musician’s legacy. The final farewell began with a lying-in-state and memorial service held at the Hall of Grace, Jogor Centre.
Notable gospel performers such as Tosin Bee, Mike Abdul, Bidemi Olaoba, and Yetunde Are joined comedian Woli Agba and numerous well-wishers to pay their respects.
Following the service, a solemn funeral procession made its way to the cemetery, where Big Bolaji’s wife, siblings, and loved ones gathered to say their final goodbyes.
The heartfelt ceremony celebrated the life and contributions of a cherished gospel voice whose music touched many.
