Sometimes the weight of public scrutiny feels heavier than anything else. That’s the sentiment expressed by Hellen Ati, the Kenyan woman who claims to have a child with Nigerian nightlife mogul, Cubana Chief Priest. In a tearful video making the rounds online, she admitted she is overwhelmed by the constant criticism and disbelief surrounding her story.

Hellen explained that many people have dismissed her claims as mere attention-seeking, with others suggesting she’s simply chasing clout. According to her, this perception has left her feeling isolated and unfairly judged, while her emotional struggles have only deepened.

She further lamented that her distress stems from giving birth for a man of high public standing. In her words, being linked to a widely known figure has turned her life into a whirlwind of gossip and attacks she never anticipated.

Hellen has insisted that a DNA test should be carried out in Kenya, stating openly that she does not trust Nigerian laboratories to deliver an untampered result. She has also called for financial support from Cubana Chief Priest, maintaining her demand for accountability and recognition.

On his part, Cubana Chief Priest has repeatedly denied the allegations, firmly stating that he does not have a child outside his marriage. His stance has only fueled further public debate, with many taking sides in what has become a messy and very public standoff.

In her emotional outburst, Hellen said, “He made people believe that what I am doing is clout chasing, content. Nobody believes me. Everybody is just dragging me every day. Just because I gave birth for someone who is known all over…”

Whether her claims hold weight or not remains a matter of contention, but one thing is certain — the controversy has left her visibly drained, and the online conversation isn’t slowing down any time soon.
